About the Design:
"The Stallion of Apple Hill" is a folk art print that draws heavily on Medieval influences. I love this horse's personality, prancing around the apple pasture and thinking he's much fancier than he really is :) The print is made by blending green and gold inks to get a delicate green that has a slight shimmer. This would be a great gift for equestrian enthusiasts.

About New South Pattern House:
At New South Pattern House, my priority is to deliver the most environmentally friendly and high quality products possible. I have thoroughly researched everything from my inks to my packaging materials so that you can relax and shop with the confidence that I have put in the work to deliver ethically sound art pieces that will last for years to come. Here are a few of the highlights:

All shipping materials are 100% compostable and/or recyclable
Paper used is manufactured using sustainable forestry practices, and renewable energy
Prints are made to order, reducing studio paper waste
Carbon offset shipping

Options to Buy:
Print Only- Best if you already have a local framer you want to work with. Signed print comes on 9x12 paper packed in a commercially compostable "eco-sleeve", and shipped in a flat mailer.

Ready to Frame- Best if you would like to pick out a frame yourself, but you want me to include a custom cut mat that will make your artwork fit perfectly in a standard size frame. Each Mat is archival quality, and I'll also include an acid free backing board. The exterior dimensions of the mat for this particular piece is 12x 16 inches.

Framed: Best if you want me to handle everything for you :). I use solid wood frames that are made in the USA, and have a clean modern profile. This option includes archival matboard, acid free backing board, and a saw tooth hanger. To protect your print during shipping, clear acrylic is used as an alternative to glass. Note- the standard acrylic I use is not UV resistant, but if you'd to hang your print in a sunny location, I can special order this product for you at an
additional price.
