About the Design:
"Moths of the Carolinas" takes inspiration from several of my favorite moths: Luna Moth, Rosy Maple Moth, Io Moth, and Sphinx Moth. It's balanced out by a celestial theme at the top and bottom with a definite art deco flair.
This paper bookmark was made using a hand carved “block,” and then relief printed onto sustainably forested fine art paper. The vegetable based inks I use in this product are smudge resistant, to guard readers against occasional tear jerkers :) but this is a paper product and is not waterproof.

This particular bookmark is made from a hand carved soft linoleum block.
The printed area of this artwork measures approximately 2 Inches wide by 8 inches tall.
The sturdy, 130 lb cardstock made using sustainable forestry practices and 100% wind energy. It comes mounted on an archival, 2 ply backing board.
Each Bookmark is shipped in a clear protective "eco-sleeve", which is made from plants and is commercially compostable.

About Block Printing:
Block prints often have slight textures and variations in the finished products. I think that's why I love them-- each one is special. Please be aware that, while I aim for consistency within each edition, there may be slight variations with each print and colors may differ from your computer screen.
Shipping and Production:
Please allow up to a week of time for your artwork to be printed and to dry thoroughly. If you need a faster turnaround time, message me and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
