Customer Testimonial: Pollinators and Goldenrod with Barbara Kaynan
"Katie’s wallpapers brings a vitality and joy to my home that I am forever grateful for each time I encounter them."

I first met Barbara at an outdoor art show in Durham. She and I immediately clicked, and she bought a few block prints for a room she was decorating at the time. She asked me about what it was like living in Hillsborough, and I of course tried to convince her to move here, since it's such an awesome place to raise kids :)
A year or two later, I got a phone call from Raleigh based interior designer, Lauren Parikh. Lauren was working with a client on some projects, and her client had requested that they incorporate some of my wallpaper patterns into these spaces! I loved hearing this (New South Customers are just the best!) and was thrilled to realize that her client was Barbara.
I recently reached out to Barbara to see if I could share some photos of her beautifully styled home with y'all. Here's what she had to say:
"Katie’s wallpapers brings a vitality and joy to my home that I am forever grateful for each time I encounter them. Everyone who comes over comments on the wallpapers in my bathrooms and I always tell them about Katie, her work, and inevitably share her information with them so they can experience the same joy in their homes. Collaborating with Katie is fun. I wanted a specific colorway for my primary bathroom and she created it custom to go with the full design. In addition to her wallpapers I have a few of her prints hanging in my home and my daughters have a few of her bookmarks between pages of their beloved books. I am a forever fan of Katie - the person and her artistry!"
Thank you Barbara for letting me share this story with the New South Pattern House community! If' y'all want to find about more about Barbara's work, you can find her at Reweaving Communities or on instagram here.
