How to Order Wallpaper from Spoonflower

How to Order Wallpaper
From My Spoonflower Shop

Today I was replying to a customer with questions about how to order my wallpaper designs from Spoonflower, and I realized the Spoonflower website had changed quite a bit, and the rest of y'all may appreciate a quick refresher as well.

For this demo, I'm going to use the "Peck and Plume" wallpaper that I designed for the restaurant of the same name located in the Mayton Inn in Cary, North Carolina. Photo Credit to Baxton Miller.

Step One: My advice is to start with the pattern that you love and work from there
Here is a link to my library of designs. I have over 1200 wallpaper patterns!
To begin, click on the artwork you think would look best in your space.
It will bring you to a page that shows you this artwork as fabric:

Step Two: Scroll down to where it says "Also available as."  You'll see a slider showing images for this pattern on products such as Wallpaper, Curtains, and Table linens.
Click on "Wallpaper"

From there, they have preview tools to see how this pattern would look on the wall, this is really useful to see the size of the design motifs on an actual wall

Tip: If you love the artwork, but the size or color isn't quite right for your project, click on the little box that says "More from this Artist, View Collection" because I often will create a collection with all of the different sizes and colors available for each pattern.  Here's the collection page for Peck and Plume.

Step Three:  Now you can order your wallpaper. Once you find the perfect pattern in the perfect scale, you can either order some rolls, or-- if you're not sure, I think it's really helpful to order a sample or two and use that to visualize how it would look in your space. This is really helpful for comparing the different substrates.

Spoonflower made this handy chart to understand their wallpaper options and prices. These prices are as of 11/24/25.
Things to keep in mind when ordering:
  • Order all the rolls you think you'll need.  The rolls you order will all be printed at the same time, and so if you miscalculate and need to re-order in the future, the colors may be slightly different (that's just the nature of their printing process.)
  • Their Wallpaper Calculator Tool is really helpful.
  • Give yourself a cushion on time when planning your projects. For me, it usually takes a few weeks for wallpapers to be printed and then shipped to me.
  • Spoonflower has a really top notch help desk. I email them all the time with questions, so feel free to reach out to them!
I hope this info helps get your project rolling!
If you do end up installing one of my patterns, I'd love to see the final pictures! Email me at katie@newsouthpatternhouse.com.
