About the Design:
Part of my ongoing Art Nouveau Wildflower series, This delicate mini print features a lovely springtime cluster of bloodroot. This time, rather than use my usual white paper, I decided to mix white and light colored inks onto a luxurious black paper. The effect is lovely-- it definitely gives the piece an antique feel. Limited Edition of 90 Prints.
Item Details:
This particular print is made from a hand carved “soft kut” printmaking block.
The printed area of this artwork measures approximately 5 Inches wide by 7 inches tall.
Includes a custom cut, acid free matboard and backing board which measures 8x10 on the exterior and will fit into widely available standard frames. (Frames not included)
The thick, acid free printmaking paper used is a luxurious 90lb cotton paper by stonhenge.
The inks used are all made right here in beautiful NC :)
Each Limited Edition print is signed in pencil by me.
