About the Design:
"Sunshine Banjo" features a banjo in a sunny garden of gourds-- (the plant traditionally used to make banjos from!)The inks used in this product are all made right here in North Carolina. It makes a great gift for the musician, or just someone who loves the music of our region.
Item Details:
- This artwork was made from a hand carved printmaking block, rolled with NC made inks onto sustainably forested papers.
- The artwork for this tiny block print measures around 2x8 inches. It was originally designed to be a bookmark!
- The custom frame that accompanies this piece is solid wood, made in the USA, and includes a custom acid free mat-board and real glass.
- This is an "open edition" block print, (unlike my limited edition pieces (which are capped at 99 prints sold per carving,)
About Block Printing:
Block prints often have slight textures and variations in the finished products. I think that's why I love them-- each one is special. Please be aware that, while I aim for consistency within each edition, there may be slight variations with each print and colors may differ from your computer screen.
