Delicate botanical pattern featuring Pokeweed-- an iconic for southern kids like me. Growing up I was fascinated by the bright pink stalks, and I used to squeeze the berries into a bucket in the backyard to make home-made dyes (mostly I dyed my hands.) Despite their juicy appearance, my parents always warned me that the berries were toxic for humans, and it was better to leave them for the birds. I had so much fun taking this nostalgic plant and giving it a sophisticated glow-up with greens, browns, and whites for a contemporary nature-inspired look.

Our block print-inspired patterns are now available on fabric by the yard, printed to order on the material that's right for your project: home decor, apparel, quilting, upholstery, or whatever you're sewing next. Every design is rooted in the Southeast, inspired by the species and spaces you love.
