Delicate botanical pattern featuring Pokeweed-- an iconic for southern kids like me. Growing up I was fascinated by the bright pink stalks, and I used to squeeze the berries into a bucket in the backyard to make home-made dyes (mostly I dyed my hands.) Despite their juicy appearance, my parents always warned me that the berries were toxic for humans, and it was better to leave them for the birds. I had so much fun taking this nostalgic plant and giving it a sophisticated glow-up with soft blue and cream for a contemporary nature-inspired look.

Our patterns, designed by Katie and inspired by her original block prints, are now available on fabric by the yard. Choose the material that's right for your project: home decor, apparel, quilting, upholstery, or whatever you're sewing next.

Every yard is printed to order, just for you. Each design reflects Katie's signature reductive style, drawn from the species and spaces you love across the Southeast.
